Food noted includes corn meal, flour, candy, sarsaparilla, and hyson tea. Coats, breeches, and silk hose are the most frequently mentioned clothing. A variety of harnesses, saddlery, and wagon repairs is also noted. Among the more unusual items is a bill for property tax that mentions furniture owned by Macon and a bill for tax on 13 Negroes.
